Did you know that Almaty (the biggest city of my home country, Kazakhstan) and its surrounding land are officially recognized as the origin of all apples? The ancestor of the apple is the Malus sieversii, which grows wild in the Tian Shan mountains of Kazakhstan.
That's why apple trees are unique to me and my whole family - we are all apple lovers!
